check the o2 next, mine had the same issue. I went to sd thinking it was a bad maff just to find out it was a incorrectly wired o2. fixed that and problem solved. i eventually threw in a new temp sencor as they are cheap.

You have to geve the alarm a min or two on mine. If you lock up and open anything right away it wont go off. i tested all four doors and the bonnet which sets off the alarm. Not sure of the trunk. Both the lights and the horn should go off.

are you chipped? dsmlink? afc? what engine management solution are you running?
