I wouldn't install that back in the galant. I have an extra set of shifter cables if you want. PM if interested.

In my experience some clips work and some don't. I just kept trying different clips until all of them locked into place. I had a whole bunch to choose from at my job so it was convenient.

Don't think I want to take the chance and plug back in the ABS unit and fuse to find out I can't brake. lol Guess I'll be on the look out for an ABS delete kit.

When I bought #1736 I found that the anti lock light on, 60A ABS fuse under the hood was missing. And also recently found the ABS control unit unplugged when I was replacing the radio antenna assembly. Can't seem to find any info as to why the PO was getting rid of ABS. Any helpful thoughts...

Clutch adjustment. I had the same exact problem when I changed out my clutch. Started her up and drove for a minute and parked. Then I couldn't get into gear when the car is on. Adjusted the clutch and problem solved.

I second that ^^^^ sometimes there are jobs on my car that need to be done but I don't have the time or space to do them. So if it means throwing down the money for having someone else to do the work then so be it. As long as I get to enjoy my GVR4 that's all that matters.

Is there anything specific I should know about when replacing these parts?

So if I were to install the master cylinder ( MB555133) compatible with the pink slave cylinder I'd be okay correct?

So is the pink not compatible G? I just want to know if I can buy either one without running into any problems.

There are 2 slave cylinders on the "part numbers we all need to know" thread Slave Cylinder (Green, 20.64mm) MD733227 Slave Cylinder (Pink, 19mm) - MD733623 Not sure which one to purchase.

Turns out my problem wasn't the steering rack. The loud noise was from a loose axle nut. Tightened that bitch up & put a new cotter pin and the noise was gone.

Where in California?

Looking to purchase front driver side axle for 1736. Options? Websites? Good deals? I tried looking up to see if 1g dsm awd axles are an exact match but couldn't find info that helped. Okay go!

The carpet is cleaned, the front and rear seats look brand new and I'm a happy camper. Better photos later on.

The steering rack is going out on me. Boots are torn and making noise when turning. Need options and opinions. Don't think I want to rebuild it but suggestions are welcome I would rather buy a whole rack but I want to know the best sites to purchase from.

Decided to install the boost gauge on the driver side speaker cover.

I found the boost leak.All new seals

PARTS PARTS PARTS!!!Got some goodies. Turbosmart 30 psi boost gauge with mounting cup & window deflectors. Cant wait to install these.Bought a brand new throttle body from a local DSMer. Also got new gaskets from extremepsi.
