  1. WTB: Bitcoins

i used to, but cashed them out when they blew up. i had 12btc. there's some good bank converters where you go deposit cash in an account and for a small fee the route it over to your wallet. it's easy and fairly inexpensive.
  2. squeezing out the HP

I will see if the boost/ timing can be more aggressive. I will try to get some logs up. Thanks again for the good advice.
  3. squeezing out the HP

I did compression maybe a month ago. Compression was something around 170 on all four. It didn't vary much either between the cylinders either. I will do it again tomorrow to see if anything has changed though.
  4. squeezing out the HP

I'll see if I can fix whatever is up with my link cable, pour in some q16 and do a couple third gear pulls and log it. I'll also focus on different areas like I take temp before and after IC, and timing. Thanks for everyone's help.
  5. squeezing out the HP

Doing a leak test higher is a great idea. I've only been testing where the pump tune was set at I imagine I will see where some previously unseen issues are located. Thanks!
  6. squeezing out the HP

Yes it's the 8cm housing. Like I said earlier, i know that the tune is conservative and they left it at 31.2psi and I know Lucas and Aaron tune to zero knock so the timing isn't as aggressive as it could be. I'm sure I can turn the boost up and adjust timing accordingly on q16 and still be in a...
  7. squeezing out the HP

i felt that my jmf intake and exhaust mani were fine. i've seen many of you make more power on the same 1g tb and 2g manifold so that's why i started this thread. i'm not into jdm bling parts and spending money on stuff just to make me feel cool.:rollseyes:that's why the original post said i...
  8. squeezing out the HP

sorry my previous post was off a phone that i typed this morning in response to G... bad connection so for some reason it posted way late. I didnt see any of the replies after reply number three. dont give me a hard time for not even seeing what youve said yet. give me a minute to catch up...
  9. squeezing out the HP

Excellent. I will check out the hypertune mani/ tb combo then, guess you're right about the intake side being a bottleneck. Is the hypertune twice as good as the Magnus v3 cast aluminum intake mani? Should I go for the large port and a 90mm tb? I see why the 1g tb is a bottleneck now, when it...
  10. squeezing out the HP

Thanks for replying. As for budget, I don't mind spending money on mg galant, obviously. I am aware that this hobby costs thousands of dollars, but I buy things that are needed at a realistically moderated budget. For example, I bought a Journal bearing turbo versus it's ball bearing...
  11. squeezing out the HP

I wanted to start a discussion on some of the successful tips and techniques many of you have used before to dial in a moderately to highly modified setup. When you're at the point where you have your car freshly built, tuned, and it doesn't make as much power as you thought it should. When you...
  12. WTB: pass fender, good cond, summit white preferred

need a summit white passenger side fender. rust free and decent paint would be great. still interested in good quality fenders that are in other colors, so long as theyre straight and rust free!-rallytime
  13. WTB: Metal skirt under headlights/grille
