Well, the main failure is the steel supply line coming out of the sending unit assy. I'm going to drop the tank and see if it's salvageable, if it has no holes, a new paint job with some rust-bullet or similar. Or maybe find someone to do that epoxy coating... I can fabricate a new sender unit assy.

I finally found some info searching on here. Looks like a Galant GSX tank is the only alternative. 90 thru 92... Thanks! -Mike

I've been searching my ass off. Only car I can find that this RP2188 is listed for is a 1991 Galant GS 4G63 VIN R. I'm assuming a 2.0 non-turbo. I would sure think this would be the right rack for a VR4 w/out AWS! I might just have to be the guinea pig... I hate this!

Where are you getting that rack for 105.00!?! I just went to their website, it's $265.99 with a 50.00 discount for orders over 150.00 or more. $215.99 after returning the core. I'm looking at Fenco #2156 for a 92' awd eclipse.

I'd say get the EuroExport one too. If you ever want to change springs, retainers, etc with the head still on, you can. The others require head removal, and that means a new 150.00 head gasket, and 100.00 head studs. Easy choice!

AFTER I ordered new moog inner tie rods and boots for 140.00, I discovered that I can get an entire rack, with these parts already installed on rock auto for 198.00! The rack I am looking at is a reman for a 91 Eclipse GSX. This will fit correct? (I've already removed and plugged my AWS ports...

Bringing this post back from the dead... I just ruined a brand new Moog lower ball joint boot. I expected the boot to go all the way down around the portion of the ball joint where the C clip attaches. Other ball joints I have installed (non-Moog) have boots that go on like this. I tried...
