  1. 1000 hp build for 100/2000

x2, those rods probably wont hold anywhere near that power. go with aluminum for an all out race car, or an i or x beam steel rod for a street/race car
  2. 654/2000 Down but not out

that kind of damage will happen to any type of rod, crower, je, aluminum, etc if there is an oiling issue. crowers are superior rods to eagles, but if your not planning on going much over 500-600 hp eagles are a better choice due to price.
  3. Any 1 have emissions hook up in CT

j&m motorsports in manchester is great with emissions. the owner mike owns a 8 sec mustang that he drives on the street. he will work with you to get it to pass.

  10. Piston and rod combo?

Quoting Street Surgeon: Quoting BadVr4: some of the cheaper rods such as eagles or manleys have been known to fail over 600 hp, so it all depends on what power levels you are looking for.Got any examples with a 4G63?yes, I had my eagle rods fail on me, and have seen several others who...
  11. Piston and rod combo?

arias has never given me any trouble, i prefer them over other brands, they use thicker valve pockets and nicer wrist pin clips than most other brands. for a street car i would reccommend I beam rods. they are super strong and should be able to handle anything you can throw at them. some of...

  13. New engine running way too rich - damage?
