Mobil 1 or K&N oil filter and others Qs.

I hope this isn't old news or something, but I've been running Napa gold filters, but I got to the store too late and they closed.

I couldn't find a Mobil 1 M1-105 or K&N 1005 in two different stores. Came home to look online, and I couldn't find them on Amazon either. Did they stop making these?

Come Monday, I'll probably just buy a couple of WIX filters, but are the others NLA or what?

Is it just me, or did pure one shrink it's filter for our car? I was going to get one of those, but I've read about flow problems, and it looked shorter then I remember. It looked too small....

i have used napa gold filter for my cars. they look the same inside as the ones mitsubishi used.

I've found that alot of aftermarket filters for our cars are smaller than the factory filters. I just stick to getting one for the dealership.

No idea about wix & napa. I've always run oe filters or denso non private labeled. You should check them out.

There was a thread sometime back about either the M105 being discontinued, or just not carried at most retail outlets anymore.
