theres 1 about 15 miles or less from me
and can i just fill up on e85 or do i need injectors and fpr
im understanding the corrosive idea just wondering if i pass a station and fill up on e85 then would anybad happen (rich/lean mixture)
You will need injectors, fuel pump,FPR and tune. Pointless to run E85 if you do not have the car tuned for it. E85 needs almost double the fuel system to run it.
E85 adds 30% more fuel to the exciting setup. If you cant adjust your fuel trims right now, than you need to look into a means of doing so before E85.
aka. ecmlink. Buying an AFPR has nothing to do with it. You can run stock fp without any problems.
Stock fuel pump? Just look into a used 190 or 255 wb. or a supra pump. But you dont have to go crazy with a external or anything.
Injectors? Depending on your current setup and tune, you have to allow for the advancement of that 30% in your fuel system.(buying injectors)
Or the make the decrease to accomidate (ex. running 1000's, and having them set for 700's)
This is what I have gathered for information on the subject.
I would never just "fill up" with it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif
