Can someone make this a sticky somewhere? It seems like every week the same questions are asked.

Wanted to append troubleshoot info from another post to this clutch troubleshoot thread, and +1 for moving it to tech or how to? Very useful info.

...Jack, of Jackstransmissions.com taught me a cool trick about clutches to verify that a clutch is releasing completely.

Find a flat piece of ground, engage first gear, depress the clutch, and start the engine. Slowly bring the rpm up with your foot off the brake, with the clutch fully depressed.

A clutch that is still operating in the friction zone will try and move the vehicle forward, but it becomes even more noticable at higher rpms.
