fog light mod, need help

Alright, basically what I'm trying to do is make it so that I can turn my foglights on and off independently of the headlights, but I'm having trouble. So far I've tried taking out the fog light relay and running a jumper wire in every imaginable configuration, and the result is always either #1 the foglights are ALWAYS on when the headlights are on (high or low beams), regardless of the fog light switch position, or #2 they never come on at all... is there another relay somewhere? What am I missing? lol

if i remember correctly, you have to place a jumper wire in the fuse box located in the engine bay. which i think you have accomplished.
i think this turns the fog lights on all the time (hi/lo beam). to turn them off independently, you have to modify the wiring to the fog light switch too. did you do this? if not, there is a great write up here under the how to section. good luck.

wow... I feel stupid now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif I guess I need to practice my search skills better or something /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif thank you guys!
