Ski rack

So I got my Ggsx back and I'm looking for a ski rack. Not willing to way $300 for what people are asking on here.

Now I know that our cars use the old yakima SST towers with the y37clips So does a civic 2dr from like 88-92. The civic can also use the qtowers with the q9 clips. Any one see a reason why the qtowers and q9 clips would not work on our cars?

Brian, back when I used 1051 for ski duty ( a loooooong time ago) I used the Thule towers and rack from my '89 Jeep Cherokee. They were meant to hook under the drip rails on the Jeep and on the GVR4 they hooked under the upper doorjamb. They cleared the window frame just fine when the doors swung out and held up great.I'm not sure what the part number was though.

 

I got the thule roof rack on 808 I am gonna be selling. shoot me a pm if it will work for ya.
