Quoting h82lose91:

Is that the same car Ian had pics of in the waist deep water?

Possibly, do you got the picture or know where I can see it?

Well it was under his image uploads on his website but it looks like his hosting has been suspended. There was a pic of him standing next to it during the storms we had. It was at his house and nearly waist deep.

Well I cleaned up the floor and plan on putting the carpet down as soon as I get a rubber grommet to cover the hole. Picked up some interior pieces for it too so it looks a lot better inside! I found a sick 89 mirage black steering wheel too that I will be installing (hopefully) and now I gotta figure out what to use to paint the brown under dash and im debating if I want to grab an 89 glove box from the junk yard.

You can probably have the under dash dyed to math at an interior restoration place. Otherwise, see if you can't find a stock original from the board.

just take a piece of the correct color plastic to autozone and get some of the duplicolor interior paint that matches as close as possible.

It's a fairly cheap solution that will look vastly better than brown.

Pretty good, I installed the carpet and the front evo seats need to be bolted in. Fuel tank was treated and the only major things I have to do are order and install the STM fuel line kit, clean under the hood, get 2 front axles, swap the 4 bolt rear i have in, and drop the motor! I will get some pics when the car gets towed to my new storage unit. I guess if the mods want they could move this to the general section as I could make this my build thread!

Here are after pics of me going to town with simple green maxx. The car still needs a few things. Need to get some 4 bolt rear axles, a passenger front axle, have my friend finish cleaning the 4 bolt rear then swap that in, receive and install the STM fuel tank to fuel rail kit, then the motor will be ready to drop in!

Still needs a bit of interior work like bolting in the front evo seats, getting the old steering wheel off, hooking up the gauges (still have to buy them ) and painting some interior pieces!

Ok cool I did, hopefully the wiring harness is intact, I never really got a chance to look at it. Next up is the 4 bolt rear swap!

Ive realized I still have a lot of work to do with this car if its going to an October 4th meet, so im ordering a new AFCO radiator, new TOB and clutch fork and clutch slave cylinder! Then I gotta mount the radiator along with the GReddy intercooler, heres a pic of the FP race manifold wrapped.

Its been a while since ive updated this, and ive done a few things since then... still need to get the stupid 4 bolt rear in, just being lazy Ive ordered most of the parts, other than a flywheel and flywheel bolts. Evo 9 seats are bolted in as well...

My new afco radiator

Not bolted in yet

Most of the 4ws crap I removed

the rest of the 4ws crap and my fuel feed line to fuel filter

If anyone was listening to me talk about how to block off my 4ws, this is the method i came up with

Got the fuel pump assembly back, now I just gotta put it back together!

Some progress as of today. Finished the fuel pump assembly installation and installed the missing crossmembers. I have the Evo 9 seats bolted in, the fuel pump assembly and STM tank to rail kit installed, and new clutch master and slave cylinder, oem tob, fork, and pivot ball. Ive misplaced my timing belt mount so once I find that and install the 4 bolt I plan on dropping the motor in. Just need a driver side axle! Im pretty sure im missing a ton of bolts with this so that will be fun tracking those down.
