Why would you even think that? Jason did the oil caps dirt cheap, and they turned out awesome. I'm sure these will be the same deal if it makes it to production.

Fuckin' Ryan. If you got one of these for free you'd still bitch about the price being too high

Hey I'm past 30, everything is too much.

Besides I meant it more as a joke. I know he won't gouge anyone on here.

Here's a serious question: How would these attach to the frame? Been thinking and wondering if there would be a bracket coming down along the headlight bolts. Also how thick of a plate? Last thing I want is it moving around and making noise.

Interested. As for people wanting carbon fiber, just wrap it it a cf look vinyl. Its not like you are saving any realistic weight.

from what i have read it helps a lot. stops the airflow over the radiator support to the engine bay and forces it through the radiator to provide more cooling air. also interested depending price. i missed out on the oil caps and im bummed about it. really wanted one, but missed the cut off date. id like to pay before hand so i don't miss out on this one. you have been making some really nice pieces lately and i want to grab them while available.

For all the international guys:

Where i work, we frequently ship auto parts internationally. I can tell you that USPS Priority Mail International will be most economical, while still being fairly reliable. So long as the total length + girth of the package stays <108 inches, you're good to go. I assume that even if you use a double wall box with packing material to keep the part stationary and protected, you're looking at 3-4 lbs maximum. Plan on shipping cost being $50-65 max, depending on your continent. The only spot where it gets tricky is some countries drop that max length + girth down to 79 inches. Australia being one of them. Rules by Country HERE

This is just a very rough shot in the dark guess, but staying <79" seems doable. 50" L x 10" W x 4" H for example, slips in at 78" total.

Add me to the list of interested depending on the price. I can definitely see this helping keep engine temps down.

I'm interested. Do you have any before and after cooling logs? I'm not thrilled with my coolant temps in the summer time and would buy one if it actually worked. If it's only for looks, I'm not interested because my car is ugly lol.

I drive 300 miles per week and log most of the miles. If you want, I'd be happy to test one and post the results. If the results are good I suspect the sales would increase. Either way, thank you very much for your time.

I've read a couple of articles about this subject. The coolant temperature actually drops, which is quite obvious since you're practically forcing all the wind that comes through the bumper and grille, trough the radiator. In a 'normal' setting, wind also blow upwards, where this plate would take place. It's only a couple degrees, so don't expect it to be like 10 degrees Celsius or something.

I believe the diesel models came with these from the factory (though, we did not get the oil burners here in the US), so I am sure it is more than a cosmetic issue.
