They can be purchased aftermarket for pretty cheap. Even OEM is only $40/side, if I remember correctly.

I am not sure if OEM cables are still available, but when they were available, they were around $32 per side! That was much cheaper than 1G cables!

I bought a set from JNZ also. Less than $100 for both and they were oem.
