Why do I have 2 keys for my car?

Does anyone else have 2 keys? I have one for the ignition and another for the doors /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

either doors have been replaced and didnt bother changing the lock mechanism or previous owner change lock mechanisms

I have 2 keys as well, I lost the OG ignition key but had a spare key. That an another key to my doors...

it drives me nuts. I have a door cylinder I need to drop @ locksmith to rekey. I'd do it myself but they've got the darned pressed on bezel that you'd have to pry off, and it gets all bent up.

I feel like originally the car came with a valet key. I swear my old car had one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I ordered an Evo flip key from flea bay. Because the key pattern is mirror-image to dsms, colts, galants etc. I had to "make" it fit lol
