Pull the inlet tube off and check for shaft play on the turbo. If I had to beat its time for a new turdo. Mine died a painful death after numerious passes at the track, my first visit with the car, that was a bad sign of things to come. Thing was it held 15psi fine just would smoke after a few times into boost. Drove it like that for a few weeks until the scream was ticking me off. The scream was the wheels eating into the housings.

where in chicago are you located? could be a bad turbo like everyone says could also be a fairly large leak. last year i had a large leak and the car would still boost well but make a horrible noise as well

A crushed stock BPV will make a high-pitched whistle at partial throttle. Mine did it around 3K rpm with zero boost.

the whistling went away randomly it must be the way i had the intake postioned i need to put dejon intake on
