So who's going to be the first to do the "long" shifter and parking brake mod? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Barry,

What is your impression of Albins. They seemed a bit full of themselves to me and I recall them being considered third in quality against PPG and another well known shop whose name escapes me at the moment. They advertise a six-speed helical dog engagement gearset for the VR4 and although it was pricey they pretty much said I could choose my ratios. It is very tempting!

The Albins stuff is meant to be good.
Most guys here use PPG or PAR (for drag anyway).

It is expensive.
I can ask the mechanic for his opinion on that gearbox and let you know.

I'd appreciate that mate!

If it does what it says on the box, it might be worth it, but it is a lot of money to drop on a transmission without a heads up on what to expect.

Paul.
