hey all, #671 ended up messing up the #2 rings and piston, so im in the process of doing the timing belt, whats the tool i have to use for the tensioner or something equvilant i can use lol thanks
Or you could use a screwdriver, it takes two people but it works.
Just get underneath(assuming the motor is in car)
get a flat head screwdriver and put screwdriver into one of the tensioner holes
Or you could just buy the timing belt tool from Jay Racing. Its only $15 and will last a lot longer than the battery tie down and is much easier than the screw driver method.
You could do any of those things, but I would highly recommend that Jay Racing kit. I have it and I love it, it also gets passed around the local dsm community in exchange for favors.
