I changed my intake mani gasket today put rtv on so it couldnt leak..idles fine when i rev it up its fine but when i drive and go to shift the rpms stay high for a about 4secs..never did this before..any ideas what it could be?

neither one of those..now i went to fire it up this morning and the idle was going all over the place..just going up and down..

Sounds like you failed at your gasket change. If you buy the OEM gasket, our intake manifold gaskets don't need RTV. I don't remember anyone blowing one out, so they should be fine for whatever boost you wanna throw at them.

I did buy oem..I use rtv on all my gaskets to be safe..The one that was on was just old and I had a boost leak so I figured I would change it.
