I used vr1 20 -50. "Race engine oil " this time...really happy with it...it seemed to keep the car about 10 degrees cooler .even after doing a bunch of pulls..

Coolant temps won't be changed by using different oil. Oil has no bearing on the thermostat, which is what regulates the coolant temp. Unless your cooling system isn't up to par...
