Oil pressure sending units and balance shafts

Why are engines with out balance shafts hard on oil pressure sending units?

Some oil passages are blocked off when eliminating the bshaft so the pressure will be higher across the board making the pump work harder.

I see. Well I think I killed my Autometer oil pressure sensor. I mean it works kinda but only when oil pressure gets high enough.
