That connecot you have near your fan in the "T" shape goes to the Coolant Temp sensor mounted underneath the thermostat housing. The car wont start without it connected. But it also may be the windshield fluid resivior connector to power the windshield fluid pump. Follow where it goes. If it goes to the side walls or firewall then its for the washer, if it goes to the engine harness near the injectors its the coolant temp sensor wire. Make sense.

In order...

MAF plug
Battery Fuse Panel
Timing Test lead
Fuel Pump Test lead
Fan Resistor Pack
Radiator Temp Sensor
Washer Fluid Pump Harness

Also note, our cars don't send fuel until the engine starts cranking so just turning the key on won't get you there. But, when the ECU goes it often results in a failure to the fuel pump signal so the pump won't turn on. You can diagnose the fuel pump by pulling the cover plate (under the trunk rug) and shorting the pump harness to pwr/gnd. If the pump goes on that way but not when cranking then your ECU may have issues. Definitely pull the ECU out and take a picture of the board so that we can see.

Bringing an old topic back but its related to what I need to know. The square plug that's used to set timing and used to ground for setting idle...what color wire is it? Mine is missing.. The plug it seems anyways and its the only other "loose" wire next to the smaller rectangular plug to test the fuel pump.
