coyotes, just looking back over this problem and i know what you are talking about. i can keep my gnared tube and just clamp the dipstick with hoses. i will hit the store tomorrow. ^^^^ i will eventually change the tube. im guessing itsjust one bolt holding her in?

Looks good, you should inspect all the wear and maintenance items and determine a priority in which to change them all out. If your car came with receipts or information about maintenance that would help. but I would suggest replacing everything depending on condition.

spark plugs (NGK)
plug wires (NGK)
coolant temperature sensor (OEM)
o2 sensor (OEM)

check condition of timing belt
do boost leak test
coolant system pressure test
engine compression/leakdown test
set base timing
set idle

my galant has a crimped dipstick, doesnt look as crushed as yours. i find that if the engine is warm its easier to pull out..

Might I suggest a heat shield be put in place to keep your alternator alive, long term.
