Hello everyone my name is Joey and I am from VA. I have been in the import scene for over 15 years now and mitsubishi's for at least 10 of them. I found this car on a thread that was posted in the mid atlantic forums on tuners. I have only mainly owned CSM's with 4g swaps in them but have always had a soft spot for the gvr4's. This is a one owner car that a nice lady owned, she darn near cried when we took it. Originally a west coast car the owner relocated to Virginia after leaving a Mitsu dealer in the late nineties. The car had a balance shaft belt break and developed a strong vibrations in the motor, so she regretfully had a local mechanic do a timing job on it. It lasted 100 miles then slipped and took out the head and number one piston. The mechanic was supposed to make it right but the car sat for almost ten years in the process. Well now here she is and I am getting ready to drop a refreshed engine back in her an keeping it stock for a dd.

Looks pretty straight. Alittle buffing and some black trim paint will make it good as new:).

Looks good and I agree that a nice machine buff will really make it look good + of course the window trim. Unfortunately the hood looks beyond buffing, but the rest of the car would look nice...Low miles, so that's a plus, too!

EDIT - looks like the roof is sort of like the hood; that's a shame.

One thing I like about white (mine) is even though it's been having to sit outside, the paint's holding up well. Wish I could say the same for the 'velle, where the clear is peeling now, ugh.

Yeah the clear is pretty much gone on the hood and spots on the roof. First agenda is swapping the motor out and some much needed maintenance, but since I got such a good deal on it I plan on having resprayed professionally. Also I might add that the car will remain as close to original a possible.

yea, the tank has been on the back of my mine since I got it, hopefully it isn't rusted up. I heard it's better to store a car with a full tank versus empty, any truth to that? The car has everything except the jack and drivers side floor mat, it even has the cup holder still in the center console.

Cleaned it up a little,

Block is at the machine shop getting line honed, decked and cleaned. The head is getting 1mm over stainless valves, crower springs and retainer. Just need to find a set of cams for it now. Also just picked up a very mint tank from rexwagon1909. I have abs delete stuff coming for it too. Next on the list is a rear subframe swap to 4bolt rear and 5 lug.

the dirty tank, amazingly I got all the nuts off without breaking! But that was short lived when I found this...
