A little info HERE . It's a different car, but the same concept and ISC design. A bad ISC can blow the driver chips on the ECU board. As a minimum, you should test it before connecting the new box.
Thanks guys, ya i just unplugged the isc before I started the car with the new ecu. The warning on the ecu looked like a generic warning label so I didn't know if there was something I was missing like certain isc works only with certain ecu or whatever.
if you have FIAV, it will leak on the ISC, which will fry the drivers in the ECU. Since your ISC was replaced you're probably fine, but I'd do the free FIAV delete (google search it's one of the first results, on tuners).
Unless you live in Fargo or something where it's -150* below absolute zero, FIAV doesn't matter in my experience.
