Test ECU Injector Drivers

I had a 2nd ISC go out this weekend and I'm unsure how to determine if it took out the ECU driver. Is there a test I can do on the ECU to determine whether coil pair A and B are still good? The car is idle surging even with the ISC unplugged, so I'm leaning toward the ECU is fried again.

And 2nd question - WTF keeps taking out my ISC's? That's the 2nd one in a few months. I had JUST replaced the 1st ISC and started the car up. BISS screw was adjusted correctly and ISC was working properly at idle. Confirmed there's no coolant leak at the TB as the car has all new hoses. Wiring harness? I'm stumped.

The only way I know of to test the ECU drivers is with ECMlink, or a visual inspection. ECMtuning can test them on a bench for you.

As for the causes, you listed most of them. It's pretty easy to trace the harness with a multimeter and make sure you don't have any sorts to power/ground.

these are for the Evo123 ECU...the 1G DSM/GVR4 drivers may be numbered differently but the driver pinouts are the same.

i've had half of the isc not functioning as well, and this has helped me trace the cause...
