Has anyone ever used a SVR battery. They appear to be made by Westco which I have heard is a good battery. Here is the one I am looking at click . I don't want one of those 14lbs batteries because I had one before and I got tired of always having to charge it. This battery is only 9 lbs more and has way more CCA. The price isn't bad either.

Get a big 1000 cca optima red top and be done, If you want to put it on a diet there's 100 things you can build out of aluminum or delete but big batteries will never give you problems or over work a starter.

Also check advance and auto zone daily for used optima's, My last 2 we're bought in the used rack for 24.99. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
