I have had good luck with the GR2 in the past, and i like the way they feel, but idk how long they would last with GC coilovers

Like I said before, if you want to have decent strut life, I would only do Koni Yellows. Konis can also be re-valved to be stiffer in the future. Its about the best strut option we have for the gvr4.

Ok, here is the lowdown on koni's:

front - you cut the stock strut apart and gut it out and put the Koni insert in. These are still available and some what hard to find.
rears - they have stopped it for the 1G AWD. What you can do is buy the 2G AWD Koni which is slightly shorter strut, but good for lowering.

I have a new set of Koni's (1g/2g combo) if you want to buy one. I just put it up for sale actually...
