Intermittent wiper position not working

So recently the intermittent wiper position stopped working. The slow and fast positions still work but the intermittent position doesn't work anymore.

Has the switch on the wiper stalk gone bad?

Possible broken wire somewhere as well.

This is usually caused by the relay on the firewall near the wiper motor.

I took the relay apart and cleaned the contacts with 1000 grit sandpaper.

Seems to have fixed the problem. But I didn't see any corrosion on the contacts to begin with. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Had the same problem myself. Replacing that relay fixed it.
