Im looking for VR4 4g63 NA Cyclone ECU Pinout Diagram

As far as i know all 1g ecu's have the same pinout so there you go one with wire colors ready.

If it doesn't help i have it also on pdf

Hello,
I need ecu pinout diagram for vr4 NA Cyclone 2000cc
Thanks....

I don't beleive that the VR-4 came with a NA engine.
Do you mean the ecu pinout diagram for the Galant AMG Cyclone??

Look in the How-to section. I adjusted that diagram for what was actually on my 1991 VR4 harness. There are differences in wire coloring. Pinout is the same (besides the 90/91 changes).

Also, JDM ecu's may be different.

Is it a jdm engine? does it have lambda sensing or is it like the Philippine GTi's where there is a fuel select and it essentially runs open loop? Have wiring diagrams to cover them all, just need to know which setup it is first.

I don't know the answer to the question, but I would like to point out how totally cool it is to have such a globally diverse group of Mitsubishi owners in a single thread. Malaysia, Greece, Sweden, UK, and USA all in a single thread.

Rich,

Did any NA configurations other than the AMG come with a cyclone manifold? It would be of relevance to a discussion in another ongoing thread.

1992-93 Northern European GTi4WDS,
Five spoke rims from the factory. That was it.

Do you by any chance have any information on the torque and power specs of that car? I am looking to see what (if any) difference the cyclone made to an NA engine over the standard GTi.

Just found this thread on another site: click
Members from here seem to be posting there too. Worth a shot, some interesting information, but no graphs of the power band in action.

The difference i those cars that have the cyclone intake is that they have a variable intake length. When cruising on part throttle it uses the longer intake route while when on WOT it uses the shorter one to charge the cylinders faster.

Variable intake AREA. The butterfies open up the second set of runners over a certain speed.

Less area = more torque low down.
More area = less torque (less restriction) more flow.

Paul I believe they are about 160hp over the 1991 145hp, I'll drag out some dealer news issues and see what is mentioned there.
