During a period of drinking one of my mates yanked my rear view mirror out of the socket - apparently useful for smashing windscreens when you land in a lake?

Anyone got a method to reattach this thing? There's a metal ring that seems to lock stub on the mirror arm in place but it's incredibly tight.

Its attached to the roof but it should pop right in. If not see if you can find a conquest or a starion one. They bolt in the same way but are black. Make his drink arse pay for the upgrade. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

$45USD?!?!?! Holly crap! Scored one from a E33A Galant at a local wrecker for $25 (that's NZ Pesos sukkas! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif) but it's a bit rough on the windscreen side. I'll take a photo becuase I like my original mirror more than this one... and it may help someone out in the future.
