I can get a great deal on some BBS rs rims they are

16x8 +25 offset.

Now I'm not sure if they will work with that off set.

I have agx/ground control coil overs.

I think I can run 195/45 two make it fit but now sure. Input plz.

Either way I want to stick with 16inch rims

195 is wayyyy too narrow for 8" wide wheels.

25 is pretty small offset or 8" wheels. they will be positioned far outwards.

I think Mark has 16x8 25-30 offset wheels on his white VR4 with the Evo3 Spoiler. As far as those tires... don't. Run at least a 225-245 and 45-50 series.

Since it's still 8" wheel width, same recommendation for tiresize. At least 225, anything thinner at they will stretch...

If you are after the stretched and poke look then 195/45 would fit on an 8" rim. But the general consensus here is that the hella flush look = bad. Personally myself I kinda like it as long as it isn't extreme.

Here's 205/50 on some 16x7.5 +20 and 16x8 0 offset rims on my Eterna:

And here are some 215/40 tyres on my 16x9 Starquest SHP rims - barely stretched at all:

OK thanks for those pictures.

Looks like I'll run 205 either way.

But +30 off set is OK?

I also found some te37
15x7 +45 for a great deal also

+30 should be OK, +45 is too much for a 7" rim in my opinion - it should be around +35-40.

How low is the car going to be?

It'll be perfect with that offset. I had 205 on Conquest/Starion 16x8 wheels and it looked great.

They look like the Volvo S40/V40 rims to me - if that's the case they are only 16x7 and +45mm offset.

Have you seen a first gen Volvo S40/V40?

You may not have seen this from Tom's Turbo Garage VR-4 build up post, but the first gen Volvo S40/V40 was co-developed with the Mitsubishi Carisma and both were built in the NedCar plant in the Netherlands.

The Carisma/first gen S40/V40 platform is based off the Lancer/Mirage platform of the 1990s and therefore inherits the 4x114.3mm hubs.
