Yes these need to be installed into a stock strut body, they are the same fitment as a 1G

Can you get the rubber hardware for the install separately?

Maybe, I believe a nylon sleeve would also work. I put together a set of koni coilovers this way with nylon instead of rubber, you'd have to measure the shock and shock body to see what size you would need.
