i parted out my Galant to focus on school, all that is left is the complete
rolling chassis.
For clarification this chassis started it's life as a Galant GSX, nonturbo 4G63,
all wheel drive sedan, believed to be more rare in production than the Galant
VR4. Lacking ABS, all wheel steering, leather and lower side skirts made the
GGSX chassis a lighter, more race ready chassis option in my mind so I
purchased this vehicle as a roller five or so years ago.
I immediately stripped it down to the chassis and removed the entire wiring
harness, then replaced it with a Galant VR4 wiring harness, making the
car in mechanical terms: a turbo sedan. I then proceeded to remove the
drivetrain components and replace the entire rear sub frame with a 4 bolt
rear out of a dsm as well as 5 lug hubs from a DSM, I went with a
turbo 4g63 engine of course. The interior dash has no badge and the oem
gauge cluster does not have a boost gauge. I was working towards a total
sleeper. As far as the exterior is considered the only gvr4 component on it is
the front bumper to accomadate a large FMIC.
Willing to deliver up to a 300 mile radius of Niles Michigan (which includes all
of chicago), anything beyond that point will cost the buyer.
