Sold!
Sold to Holeshotmoe. Thanks everybody for the interest and helping make it clear exactly what turbo it is.

I've got an MHI Evo 3 16g for sale, in excellent working condition with about 5k miles on it. $300 plus shipping, firm on price.

That isn't an Evo3 exhaust housing. That one still has the blind bolt hole that's nearest the PS pump, where the actual Evo3 housing has all open bolt holes.

I'm needing a good price on one of these. If it is the real deal, 5k and not 50k, no shaft play, and you post a cleaner pic of the ser # on the compressor (something like below), then I'll take it. Please confirm. Thanks.

Are you talking about the stud? I'm lost, I would like to know how to ID these quickly...

The manifold flange is different too...square vs THIS
I thought the big designation was for the EVO3. Anyone know? Anyway, I'm looking for b16g.

The last bit of numbers look like 47, but I can't tell for sure.
If it's an older style 7cm turbine, then the only difference the Evo3 has is the lighter weight and higher nickle content. Other than that they perform the same. However, it's hard to differentiate the older style 7cm vs the 6cm.

Here's the serial number, which according to Jason G's post says it is an EVO 3 16g. I put a little less than 5k on the turbo, the previous owner said he put it on new, and he had other problems with the car so he didn't drive it more than 500 miles. It has absolutely zero shaftplay whatsoever. I only took it off because I got a deal on an FP68HTA.

I'm interested in your turbo BTW, I just transferred funds to my paypal account...
