What happens when the struts die and we need replacements?

After this run is done, maybe we should know brand/model of struts used so we can get replacements. Yes?
I've no problem with someone turning a profit, but if they choose to not continue offering the product, please let us know where to buy replacement parts.

my hood props clip that holds it down was broken anyway... so getting rid of the prop rod was a great thing since it isnt rattling around up there anymore /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

just an added bonus to a great product!

Mine have been holding the hood up for about a month now. I've closed the hood a few times. They seem to be nice solid units.

I had to make sure and torque down the brackets on the hood REALLY tight, though. These brackets could use some minor revision, but otherwise i'm very pleased with these struts.
