I would think it would be easier than a JDM car but leave it to the Government to bend you over and ram it so far up your ass that it just aint worth the attemp. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

it's not that bad to import from canada - the big things are:

- you need a letter from dealer for it, see link
- needs to pass federal emissions standards (a Canadian-born car should, JDM maybe not)
- speedo needs to have mph reading (again, CDN car should, JDM maybe not)
- needs to meet a few other body criteria, headlight height, etc - if it doesn't, you have to get the service done at a dealer or dealer-approved shop

On the outside that car is a CC Lancer so body parts are as easy as finding the 4G performance forums, and/or hitting up your local yards for 93+ bodystyle Rages (Mirage), Colt's, and Summits. Headlights and other bits should just bolt if I'm not proven wrong in this regard.

Is this car posted at the Mirageperformance forums? If it isn't, it should be!

Thanks for the pics. Also, is the clutch hydrolic or cable? It appears to be hydrolic in the pics(think I see a reservoir) but I believe some came with cable setups.
