from a 91 eclipse awd will work on 91 gvr4?

Does any one know if th eshifter from 91 gsx eclipse will fit my gvr4?

It will. It will also be about 2-3 inches shorter like a short shifter. I had one with the 1g leather boot on my old Galant and loved it. It does change the location of the shift know but I got use to it quickly.

Some like it, some don't. When I used one I thought it was too short, and I didn't like how much it increased shifting effort. I'm currently using a 3000GT shifter. Some modification is required.
