Just curious if this method will still work for the smaller leaks...these evap smokers have like 1 psi regulator to push the smoke. Is this a bad idea for a turbo car?
I made my own and used a small portable tyre inflation compressor to push the smoke in. It worked great and caused no issues.
It's not going to find leaks that only show up at high boost levels, but good for the small stuff and saves trying to spray soapy water into hard to reach areas when boost leak testing.
That's good to hear, did you use mineral oil?
Also, I think I have boost leak near the injectors or intake mani - head seal is non existent.
My system completely bleeds from 20psi to 0 in about 5-6 seconds.
