I installed a new Innovative oil pressure and temp gauge. Worked great at first but now the pressure gauge only reads 100. Any ideas?

Thanks.

I installed cheap gauges in 503 when I owned it. Prosports. Total garbage. I think I had to replace the oil pressure sender like three times. After that, I just pulled it out and left the mechanical boost gauge in it.

I don't know how high quality the sender is for your Innovative gauge, but that's probably where the problem lies.

FWIW, zero issues with my Defi Link oil pressure gauge in 1051, but there better not be when the damn sender alone costs over $100.

I don't, but the Defi sender is really small compared to the VDO/Autometer/Prosport sized senders.

The size of the part that came with the kit is large. It fits, but barely. They said not to mount it close to the oil pump but where are you supposed to move it to? I haven't had issues before with electric senders in this location. I don't see how a relocation kit would help because it is still transmitting the pressure through fluid and the sender would still experience pulses in pressure.

I've never heard of Innovative gauges. Is it some chinabay crap? If so, you should not have expected anything more out of it.

I had the same issue with an autometer. They warrantied the first one then recommended that I remote mounted the oil pressure sender because their sensors can't handle the vibration at the OFH. I ended up just getting rid of the electric and put in a mechanical.
