ECU Damage

I was wondering if any of the seasoned members on here could tell me if my Caps that were leaking on 324 has damaged the ECU beyond repair or is it salvageable.

That does not look that bad but the pic detail is not good. Most acid damage can be fixed. PM me if you want more info...

 

Yep, that's damage from leaky caps. Almost 20 years old, and I can't believe how many are still original. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Yea sorry for the pic I took it on my iphone. My real camera was dead so i had it charge while I was at work. I'll post the new pic soon. I just hope its not beyond repair.

 

I can't tell that well from the pics, but the damage looks similar to the damage that was on my ECU before sending it to keydiver for repair. Great looking work might add, and fast turn around. Wasn't much down time at all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/applause.gif

It is fixable if the flame-up did not cause some other parts to blow (like processor).
