Any possible way this can be done with the dash in the car?

I have contemplated that before. Hard to get hand clearance in there to work effectively, and then you have to figure out how to wedge something between the glass and dash to get the compression instead of clamping.

I have to do this, and will probably pull the windshield out. Not looking forward to it though.
