Won't the front ride low too? Aren't stock GVR-4 springs taller than stock DSM springs?

Well a 2000gtx is a Eagle copy of the galant. I wonder if it was a awd version too. Sorry for lack of help, may a bump will get you more info

All I know is that, proportionately, Galants have more rear travel that DSMs. So, a DSM spring will lower the back more than the front and it ends up squatted down in the back. Now, depending on the particular spring this may not be an issue. But stock DSM springs on a Galant look like your always launching at the strip.

2000 GTX = Galant GSX

Not so much a copy as it is just re-badged.

one more thing is a 255/40ZR17 with a 2" drop possible without spacers?

I'm running a 225/50R17 on 4G eclipse wheels with factory springs and I only clear the front struts by 1/4 inch, the rear trailing arms clear by even less, and under moderate suspension compression the tires rub lightly on the front fenders.
