I heard our stock ALT. is 90 amps, is this correct? if so, Why does it say on Kragens website that we are offered a 90-99 amp one, or a 110 amp one. which would you buy and why? O reilly's alt.
I think I'd go with the OEM replacement and just take damn good care of it long term. Electrical gremlins are the worst and I want to be damn sure my alternator is the best it could be.
I might, however, be trying the Saturn alternator on the rally car, as it will be running more than a few hundred watts of additional forward lighting.
I personally feel the Saturn Alternators are overrated. Not worth the hacking for the gain in the end. I don't think people really see 200 at all. I'd just stick to an OEM replacement. It's more than plenty for the majority. If you need more juice than there are aftermarket alternators that don't require any hacking

Because Kragen does know wtf they have fs. Stick with the 90amp, unless you can afford the $350 bosch 140 amp I sell.
