225/50/15 on oem wheels

Im in need of new tires and a local guy is selling a 225... would this fit on factory width? I assume we have 15x6 correct?

it's going to be very wide. it'll fit, but it's going to look very very funny of 15s. it may even rub.

They will also be smaller outside diameter, about an inch.

I've ran a 225/50 on the stockers. They hang over pretty good and are alittle of a PITA to get on but they don't rub.
