this is the beautifully amazing drawing that i drew up kind of as a custom plan.
im buying 15x8.25 deep dish rims that look exactly like the drawing.
buying a sti gauge pod for the dash for extra gauges that will be needed.
only spent a grand on this car so im game for any ideas someone may have.

Chopping the back half off will almost certainly result in its demise.
Also this site is dedicated to the 6th generation Galant VR4, we'll gladly help you but you may be better off on a Summit/Expo dedicated forum

Here you go, should have some decent info here click I've been a long time member on that forum and it has expanded a little from just the Sixth generation CSM's to newer and older ones.

^^^ Seconded. You'll get more info there. Also, time to think about your drivetrain and routine maintenances, not modifications. Hope it's 5 speed.

Could you describe "perfect"? Just curious.

I would like to take an issue with this… (unless you meant "stock looking" ) I have owned/raced 9 and low 10 second DSMs, numerous GVR4’s and they were all fun! But… they pale in comparison with the fun I am having with racing my Summit! At first, people laugh at it, but then, once they see it race, it is largely adored by the public! It is a blast to see such radical switch in people’s reaction!

Of all the people, fast GVR4 owners should relate to this. Only doing this in a Summit is THAT much more effective!

Having said that, hacking off the roof would not be the way to customize the Summit… you will destroy its “minivan” aspect, which is THE reason why it is so shocking. Also, you ask for perormance mods, but propose something that isn't really performance related

If you want to see some people who love the van for the van, check out these guys down under:

It's an RVR, without the Bling factor. This adds a little more perspective.

I second this. I love my van and plan to do some tasteful mods to it.
