Hey guys,I've been DD'ing my Galant for about 6 months now with no issues. Its all stock and one day I started it up and it sounded like it was missing and smelled really strongly of fuel inside the car. Also it runs really bad below 3k rpm and tries to die but besides sounding bad it drives...

I appreciate the offer. I have a set of 245/45/17's on 17x8.5 on my 91 Talon so I have an idea of what they look like on a 17" just wasn't sure about a 16" and how similar fitment is on a vr4.

225 is not wide enough. Wheels would need to be 4 lug, dont really wanna hassle with 5 lug swap.

I'm not really hung up on getting the Rotas, I just really like the design being a simple 5 spoke with flatish spokes. And I like the look of the thick spokes as opposed to thin. Any other suggestions for wheels that have a similar design?Thanks to kartorium for actually addressing my question.

245/50/16 TiresIt's actually a pretty common size for most RWD cars. A lot of F bodies, Mustangs, and C4 Vettes run them.

I appreciate the concern for the wheels but that wasn't my question. If we take the wheels out of the equation, the question is what is the widest tire I can stuff on a 16x8 and what offset. Anyone with firsthand experience with this? I was thinking somewhere around 245/50/16, just need help...
