  2. Quite possibly a build thread..

I just didn't want an oil cap haha. The vent fittings have a hole in it large enough to put a funnel in anyway.I'm still using the charge piping setup. Probably will for a long time unless I find the limits of that intercooler.got some stainless to replace pretty much everything under the...

  4. Quite possibly a build thread..

I'm not sure if it's sealed or not to be honest. I can't remember for sure, but I think mine is "updated". I really think that someone had China knockoff the original Forrester, but either way my lower section is cut for an O ring, it does not use a gasket. Maybe that's how they all are?? It's...
  5. Quite possibly a build thread..

Thanks^intakeOn another note, has anyone built anything to eliminate the thermostat housing/water neck, without going electric wp? That will be my next project, looking for idears.
  6. Quite possibly a build thread..

Okay so I got the Viper and kinda forgot about this for a while. Worked on the viper non stop since I got it. I re lipped, barreled a set of ccw classics and put a juicy drag radial on it. Got stupid, 74 So I figured if I was gonna be painting... Stripe delete 95 Got that done...
  7. Tuff photos and transfer case problems!

This thing is awesome. Can't wait to see more.
  8. Quite possibly a build thread..

Aero. Ha, yeah it's got that. It works great for catching sockets, bolts and other assorted parts that you drop. Requiring an extra 20 mins to jack up the car and remove it all to retrieve your stuff. I guess it's worth having when you're doing 170 though. Not that I've ever done that or...
  9. Quite possibly a build thread..

Mmm, crisp white. I mixed W37, Wicked White, but omitted the gold toner to brighten it up a bit. Obviously I couldn't just have an off the shelf color. hahaLittle dry spray near the back there... sh*t'll buff out
  10. Quite possibly a build thread..

Not only did I finally decide on a color, I got to put some down tonightEvery once in a while I've gotta show the guys in the shop I'm not just a paper pusher.
  11. Quite possibly a build thread..

Thanks, but everything is a project. If you're me. The head/cam setup should do over 600 wheel
  12. Quite possibly a build thread..

Haha, I don't think I could let it go for 3 Galants. Thanks though guys, it really is a dream come true. I brought the bumper for the G with me to work and started on it early this morning. When my co workers came in they couldn't even fathom what I was doing. "Why didn't you just get a new...
  13. Quite possibly a build thread..

It was on the back burner after the Viper, however the Shootout has me excited about it again. Right now, I'm budgeting for cnc ported heads and a cam for the Viper($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$), but do intend to put the labor hours in on the G in the mean time. My buddy and I just did a...
  14. Quite possibly a build thread..

It is. Though, most of it is the banks
  15. Quite possibly a build thread..

I just love side exit so much, I had to.
  16. Quite possibly a build thread..

The tires are 245 45 17 25.7" overall diameter.Really dragging my feet on getting the wheels done. I can't wait to see it on the ground though.
  17. Quite possibly a build thread..

I cut the floor out behind the drivers seat. It runs right though the rocker.
  18. Quite possibly a build thread..

Thanks dude.Little slower progress than expected but I haven't stopped. The insert is body worked and primed. WAY WAY WAY more work than what you'd think to look at it, but it looks MEAN AF.
  19. Quite possibly a build thread..

Never thought of it that way. Thanks for that.
  20. Quite possibly a build thread..

    Bout' to mold this:
  21. VR-4 #768

The shops that you've gone to probably don't want to fix it because of its age. It will be hard to source parts. For us enthusiasts on the .org it would be easy. From my prospective at work, I call 3-4 vendors for used parts, 2 or 3 for possible aftermarket. If I can't get it that way, I order...
  22. Quite possibly a build thread..

Yeah the exhaust will exit through the rocker. I had some rust there anyway. I figured if I was going to be doing metal work I would make it worth it. I'm going to level the floor with the transmission tunnel behind the drivers seat to get the clearance I need. You'd better be short if you sit...
  23. Quite possibly a build thread..

OoopsI took an inch from the height of the bumper. Working on getting that hole closed up.
  24. FS: '91 Gvr4 Partout (xxxx/2000) NB *Updated September 11, 2022

Would you be willing to cut the roof skin off? If so I can have it picked up.
  25. Quite possibly a build thread..

Lots of work to do on this yet. I should have waited to post. I know it will be impossible for some to visualize how it will look when complete.(I'd agree right now it looks horrid) I've got to take almost two inches from the height of it, which will make the opening much smaller. I will be...
  26. Quite possibly a build thread..

Because shortening a stock bumper was too easy.. and also because there are more cars with JDM bumpers than originals.
  27. Quite possibly a build thread..

The clutch master cylinder reservoir is something I had been brain storming a while. Tonight I found something to work, by accident.
  28. Quite possibly a build thread..

Thanks dude! I've seen your build(s). Your opinion matters lolAudi pics are up No rear shots though. My exhaust fit is horrendous,my tips are crooked but I just haven't given enough fucks to fix. The trunk lid is debadged , and my tail lights are all red. Other than that it's stock back there...
  29. Quite possibly a build thread..

I didn't forget the pics. However, none of them are worth sharing. The good news is this weekend I cleaned it up and had my buddy shoot a couple pics with a good camera. He's got to edit them yet.Not a massive update for this weekend, got side tracked a bit making a sign.My new office is...
  30. Quite possibly a build thread..

Yeah man. I don't have many pics of it. I need to wash it anyway so I'll get some pics after work today.
  31. Quite possibly a build thread..

  32. Quite possibly a build thread..

I did a front mount,3" turbo back, pod filter, and a boost gauge. 255's on all 4 corners on 17" a8 Wheels. Just an ebay knockoff bumper.
  33. Quite possibly a build thread..

So I realize these couple pics are sh*t, but I wanted to update this thread. I've started working on the car again. Knocking out all the small details to make all this stuff work that I have been dreading. I took a pretty good hiatus when I got the Ducati because I really didn't care about...
  34. #860/1000 diary

To me, 10-15ma is normal, anything over 30ma I'd start searching for a problem. These numbers aren't set in stone, but at 70ma, something needs done.
  35. ggsx side splitters

I'll enjoy seeing the progression. In for updates.
  36. GSX_TC's Galant VR4 Build Thread #550/2000 (Samara)

Being "on e85" doesn't make the car flex fuel, that's the stupid thing about that badge.
  37. GSX_TC's Galant VR4 Build Thread #550/2000 (Samara)

With the dicknose hanging off the rear glass especially, it just makes me laugh. It's really not a bad car. Straight, clean, complete-aka good bones. Is the thing even flexfuel? psh
  38. GSX_TC's Galant VR4 Build Thread #550/2000 (Samara)

The car has good bones, and the wheels look great but why is there crap stuck on EVERYWHERE?? I have to really squint to like it.
  39. 1865 track day and DD

    Yep. I'm excited for this.
  40. Quite possibly a build thread..

I'm a service writer at an independent auto repair shop. Amateur fabricator, at best on the weekends. I don't know about needing an apprentice but if you wanna bring a case of beer we can make all the sh*t you want.
  41. 303/2000 Build

Loving the big rubber as well! Can't wait for more.
  42. Quite possibly a build thread..

Thanks, but those wheels aren't actually mine I came across them for sale and thought it was cool that they were the same colors I'm doing mine. I mean, I am a little upset that there is another set like mine. Like I said though, they don't have the valve stem cutouts welded shut Thanks for...
  43. Quite possibly a build thread..

Thanks man. It's still a work in progress. It's going to be a divided catch can/coolant overflow.
