This seems to be the best time to rewire your fuel pump. This upgrade is usually done when there's an upgraded fuel pump and would be appropriate time to change into a thicker gauge wire.

Also, you'll eventually need to change out that oem maf for a 2g maf as is has a higher range in frequency vs stock. Investing in an eprom socketed ecu and Ecmlink will forever help you on your eventual mods. That being said, as Josh mentioned, maintenance is key.
