  2. Drivable Galant VR4s

344/1000 is enjoying some snow-drifting...was down for 2 weeks waiting for a new FPR diaphragm-that was fun troubleshooting. How I love my Galant VR4. She gives such smiles at 20 plus psi 😉 hoping to get her back on E85 this Spring and crush some 12's at Mile high. Joshua

  4. JReece3556 Build

Jreece, great build brother!!! Keep up the good-work...I especially love not only the quality of your build-your VR4 looks like it could go run Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with the modern EVO's and STI's and being sponsored to boot is impressive alone, but the throwback pic with the Japanese...
  5. JReece3556 Build

Love the build...clean and tasty :P I especially love the GT500 Hood vent-looks great! Might do the same thing if I ever have the means to spend on the old-girl-which outfit did you purchase the hood vent from? There seems to be alot of questionable ones online. Also does the vent keep moisture...
  6. Bastard 20g why can I not use this bung for a boost source?

Per some help from Vegas on Dsmtuners here is the issue with the bung on the turbo. Question why would it be like that with an external cap and second can I just put another open bung on the compressor and hook up the mbc from there as the boost source?

  8. Bastard 20g why can I not use this bung for a boost source?

Good day my fellow VR4's Having some issues controlling boost on my newly installed Hallman MBC...I know a few of you are spot on regarding using the 1g bcs with DSMLINK-I will soon. Nonetheless, the issue is I get upwards to a 10 to 12 lb spike- 10 to 11 lbs at 3200 rpm to 21 to 23 lbs at 6500...

  11. COVR4355 First 1/4 mile pass on E85

Thank You Brett... you have helped me immensely to get it where it is now Thank you! I will throw a post with the log once these little gremlins take a nap the 8k DA was terrible...if only I was at sea level I would have had my 12 second car a 12.999 Still 12 seconds :P What is a good 60...
  12. COVR4355 First 1/4 mile pass on E85

Here is the 13.75 pass as well...that was awesome running against a Z06 vette-lost by .3 seconds though If I had any talent that run-a 2.4 60 and a 1.4 reaction time it would have been a far different storyclick
  13. Im new here

Welcome Songsay! I too have a Kensington Grey VR4 on the awful factory 15" I love the Gold 17"s :P What is the maker of the wheels and tire pairing you chose by the way? Good luck and looking forward to seeing the build
  14. COVR4355 First 1/4 mile pass on E85

Dont laugh everyone... first drag race in nearly a decade with a pro-tree...whatever that is :P DA was insane at nearly 8,000 altitude at Western Slope Drag-way in Clifton, CO. Fastest time was 13.51 against a tuned Golf-R-Auto on 116 racegas (he ran a 12.86). Felt like I had a lot more power on...
  15. COVR4355 What a Glorious Car!

Thank you all...truthfully the previous owner is a dear friend who poured countless hours and money into this wonderful car was finally convinced to let go his project of more than 8 years sitting in his garage. Despite a few hiccups and sorting some curious issues, the car drives strong and...
  16. COVR4355 What a Glorious Car!

Thank you gentlemen...I am incredible thankful for the opportunity to join this select "brotherhood" although it seems "sisterhood seems more applicable at times reading the various trolling and destructive banter of various individuals-wont name names or encourage the onslaught of negative...

Looks awesome badams, classy, clean, and a great stance. What tire and wheel setup are you running? Have a great Day!
  18. COVR4355 What a Glorious Car!

The gold wheels do indeed look good on your Grey-beautiful car...with me having the factory 4 lug setup and 4WS I will likely go with a Konig or Enkei 4x114.3mm 17" wheel. Love the stance by the way-delving into your photobucket they are KW coilovers? Only real option I foresee in affordable...
  19. COVR4355 What a Glorious Car!

Fitting response... truthfully not applied to the wonderful VR4 platform, but in my experience with Talon TSI's I figured I would strike two cars with one label-4g63 beasts. By the way curious what everyone thinks in regards to pairing matte-black wheels with the Kensington-Gray color? click...

  21. Greetings and Help for a Newb :P

Bless you good sir...apart from the inaccurate judgmentalism and critical ostracizing-(entitled millennial and in-attempt problem solving is laughable indeed) I thank you-warns the innocent to not poke the charitable troll . It was set up correctly after confirming Overkill's insight-which is...
