Aye, Randy is my Name.. and im new to the 6th gen game. (Based in the Netherlands) Not a newbie on the overall Galant platform (8g). Had a few Legnums and was the face behind Pandaparts (international 8g parts guy) for 8 years. And since 2.5 years now in have a 6g GTI with a 4g63T 6bolt swap in it. Imported from the promised land. Its a bit of a fixer upper (what i wanted) so that i dont get bored.

Welcome to the forum, Randy.

Good to have you here. That 6g GTI with the 4g63T swap sounds like a solid project to keep you busy. Is the engine currently stock, and what are your future plans for it?
Feel free to share some pictures whenever you start a build thread. Enjoy the community.

Full stainless exhaust with HKS hiPower silent endbox
Uprated fuel pump
GTO brake calipers on the front
Big front grooved and drilled discs
Central locking
Powersteering
Airconditioning
Electric Windows
Roofwindow
Aftermarket steeringwheel and hub
VR4 clocks with the digital boostgauge and 2 light mode option
Grey Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 3 Recaro seats
On modified Galant 8th gen recaro seatrails
VR4 RS hood
Hoodbra
Aluminium radiator
Custom intercooler
Hurricane chargepipe
GReddy bov
Seethrough timingbelt cover
Front and rear strutbrace

Needs a few minor bits doing
paintwork is not the best
Needs a good tune

Came with
Spare gearbox
Stock shocks and springs
Extra coilovers

Currently in the corner of my shop since shes throwing tantrums. (Throttle body boostleak, maf sensor dead) looking for a good alternative for the oldscool maf (e5t02671) like changing it to a evo 3 one or something like that. But as i said.. new to this platform so need to learn a lot haha.

The #482 maf and #399 mafs are great options. 482 is found on Monteros and 399 on Evo 8/9

I have some 482 mafs on the shelf, since the 8g galant uses them for the 2.0 sohc 4g63, i was thinking more of the #609 since my buddy uses that one on his evo 3
482 and 399 can flow more than 609 (y)
